Tired of a toxic workplace? There's a healthier way forward.

Beverly Banks spent 39 years in federal service, a lot of it in a workplace that wore down her health and her confidence. She stayed because she was scared to leave. On July 31, 2026, she walked out with a plan. Now she helps women and men protect their peace, set boundaries that hold, and build a way out that doesn't wreck their finances.

After 39 years in a toxic workplace, Beverly walked out with a plan. Now she helps you protect your peace and plan your way out.

Sound familiar?

Everyone keeps telling you to hang in there. Your body is saying something else.

A toxic workplace doesn't stay at work. It follows you into your car, your kitchen and your sleep. It chips away at your confidence, your peace, your health and even your bank account.

You dread Sunday night

The weekend ends and the knot in your stomach starts. You're good at what you do, but walking in the door takes everything you've got.

02

You bring it home with you

Headphones in, music on, just get through the day. Then you get home and you're still replaying what they said. The toxicity rides home in the passenger seat.

03

You're afraid to leave

You've got bills, a roof to keep and a family who says a good job is a good job. So you stay, and you start to believe the things they say about you.

They used to tell us to leave our problems at the door. Your problems follow you everywhere. We have to get to the root so we can produce better fruit.

Meet your guide

I stayed for 39 years. I know exactly why people stay.

I was bullied in school and bullied at work, and for a long time I believed the lie that I had to put up with it. My family raised me to keep that good government job. That good government job was making me sick.

I prayed about it for a long time. Then I made the decision that I couldn't take the abuse anymore. Leaving was scary and it still stretches me, but I'm sleeping better, eating better and living up to my last name. Now I help people do the same thing, only with a better plan than I had.

  • 39 years in federal service, so I understand the pension, the pressure and the fear of starting over.
  • A whole-person approach that covers your mindset, your health, your money and your exit plan together.
  • Faith-grounded and judgment-free. I'm a believer, and I'll never use scripture to keep you in bondage.
  • A real sense of humor. This is heavy stuff. We're still allowed to laugh.

The framework

The Root to Fruit Method

Most advice about toxic workplaces stops at "get over it" or "just quit." Beverly's four-part method deals with the whole person, so the change you make actually lasts.

R Step one

Reveal

Name what's really happening, without shame and without sugarcoating it.

  • Spot the patterns of a toxic environment
  • Separate their behavior from your worth
  • Start a private paper trail

H Step two

Heal

Care for your mind, body and spirit so you're not making decisions from an empty tank.

  • Set boundaries that hold
  • Protect your sleep, eating and energy
  • Deal with the stinking thinking

P Step three

Plan

Build a financial strategy and an exit plan before the job makes the decision for you.

  • Know your real monthly number
  • Map your runway and your options
  • Pick a date and work backward

R Step four

Rise

Step into your next chapter with a healthy tribe around you and a purpose in front of you.

  • Build a circle that holds you accountable
  • Pick back up the dream you set aside
  • Move forward with purpose
